All the News That's Fit to be Tied

I have an axe to grind, but unlike the New York Times, I freely admit it.

I read the News

I read the News and boy was I mad. There are an awful lot of mainstreamers who want conservatives to support John McCain. He's the one they say. He's got the staying power they say. He's got the support of Democrats, those important independents. Yes he does, and do you know why- He's a liberal. If the mainstreamers are able to make this race between McCain and Hilary or McCain and Obama they have the opportunity to get a liberal in the White House no matter which party wins-and that is where the truth is. If you are a Republican in something more than name only. If you are a Republican that wants to move the country in the right direction next November or February 5, then you won't be voting for John McCain. He's weak on tax-cuts, illegal immigration, free political speech, conservative judicial appointments, internal security and one of original RINO's. There are only three Republicans left who can win-they are Giuliani, Romney and Thompson. Thompson may be contemplating getting our after South Carolina but he should remember that Huckabee supporters need someone to vote for after the Arkansas governor calls it quits.
